Chaos Rampant, an Age of Distrust.

For future reference to anyone that knows me.
If it gets to the point where I am blasting Slayer through my stereo...you can tell that I am genuinely PISSED OFF!

You may now go back to your vapid, pompous shells of existence you self entitled, ignorant, spoiled infantile children.

I will unlock my door...and pass the Cemetary Gates.

Gone, but never forgotten. Six years to the day marking the passing of Dimebag Darrell. Probably one of the most influential guitarists in the world...period. Coinciding with the 30th anniversary of the death of John Lennon, the world is reminded that the music will never be the same.

It was all about Darrell today, from when I woke up I had Pantera blasting. I even had "cowboys from hell" blasting as my alarm. They say time heals all wounds but this is an event where a community is still at a loss. I just finished re-reading my post last year, marking the 5th year anniversary:

Still the effects and loss are felt. Reading an article this morning summarized who he was as a man: an inspiration, a legend.

"To a person, everyone who came into contact with Dimebag Darrell as he made his way around the world several times over playing the music he loved was made to feel like an equal, like a friend. With Dime, there were no walls between the fans and the musicians, between crew and band. There was only kinship and a common love of music and having the best time humanly possible. Even those of us who never met the man felt like we knew him from watching the Pantera home videos and seeing him exude one hundred percent uninhibited enthusiasm on stage each and every night and completely unfiltered, boyish joy off stage when he partied with his brothers by blood and by metal, the hardest drinking band in the business, Pantera."

It is only with this realization that it seems ironic, and unfortunate that a community is drawn together, and strengthened by loss. It is once again, that I say thank you Dimebage Darrell Lance Abbott for your music and the memories. RIP man...this blacktooth is for you!

Metal Will Never Die!

This kid just made my day...again!
